Harvest Preserving Demo with Lynda Hallinan, Sunday May 19 @ 2pm

Join me for an afternoon jam session this Sunday (May 19 @ 2pm) at Sweetgum Cottage & Garden, 2495 Hunua Road. I'll show you how to make my favourite winter preserves, from a zesty five-minute lime marmalade to pumpkin jam, Damson gin, plum chutney and homemade cordials. Lots of fun, plus plenty of tips and tricks for making the most of your seasonal harvests to fill your pantry and provide gorgeous gifts for friends and family.

There shall also be homemade scones with cream and freshly made jam, plus my world famous (in Hunua, at least) marmalade mulled wine to keep your cockles warmed x
