Sunday Plant Propagation Workshop

Join me at Sweetgum Cottage, 2495 Hunua Road (next to YMCA Camp Adair) this Sunday afternoon from 1pm for a practical autumn workshop on plant propagation - with a twist. Bring your own secateurs and we'll wander around my organic cottage garden, talking about my favourite plants and how to grow them, while you snip cuttings to take home with you. I've also saved seeds from my favourite old-fashioned, easy-to-grow cottage flowers and will talk through the basics of seed collecting and saving before sharing any varieties that take your fancy.

My aim is to share my love of gardening with useful ideas, whimsical follies and a sense of fun. So come along, enjoy a cup of tea (or a cocktail), pat the cat and ask any questions you have as we (and our gardens) slowly wind down for another season.
